Abstract: (1887 Views)
PH measurement is one of the most common decomposition techniques used to determine the acid or base strength of a sample. This quantity can be done electronically using acid and base color reagents (in the form of paper or solution with color scale) and electronically. PH is measured electronically using an electrode. An electrode is an electrochemical sensor that includes a detector electrode and a reference electrode. The history of measuring the acidity of liquids electrically dates back to 1906, when Max Cremer, in his study of liquid interfaces (the interaction between liquids and solids), realized that the interface between liquids could be blown by blowing a bubble. Small glass and put one liquid inside it and another outside to be studied. In this way, an electrical voltage was generated that could be measured. The H-gauge measures the electrical potential between the mercury chloride at the reference electrode and its potassium chloride liquid, the unknown liquid, the solution inside the glass electrode, and the potential between this solution and the silver chloride. But only the potential between the unknown liquid and the solution inside the glass electrode changes from one sample to another. Therefore, the remaining voltages are measured without being present in the equation. The white mercury reference electrode consists of a glass tube with a potassium chloride (KCl) electrode in close contact with the mercury chloride element at the end of the KCl element. It is a brittle compound, which is in contact with a liquid connection tip made of porous ceramic or similar material. These types of electrodes are not easily contaminated with heavy metals and sodium. The glass electrode consists of a rigid glass tube to which a thin glass bubble is attached. Inside it is a known solution of potassium chloride (KCl) as a 7 + PH buffer. Establishes the interior. To reduce electronic interference, the probe is protected by a foil sheath, often found inside a glass electrode. Due to the time consuming nature of measuring the pH of materials with the current pH meter, we decided to use a device that can provide the appropriate pH in a hygienic environment, taking into account the minimum time and the intervention of human resources. . Therefore, the new device is able to do this and on the other hand, it creates this advantage so that we can localize the construction of this device and reduce costs by preventing transfers and currency. Liquid injection to achieve the required pH accurately and uniformly with a mixer at a gentle and uniform speed is one of the innovations of this design, which greatly reduces the risks of working with the solution by manpower. There are many examples of PH meters, but there is no example that creates a liquid with a selected pH and records events in diagrams, and if there is, it is limited and out of reach.
