Brucellosis occurs in all parts of the world except in areas where bovine brucellosis has been eradicated. Annually, 500,000 new cases are reported, mainly in the Mediterranean, Central Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, India and Latin America. Brucellosis is endemic in all parts of Iran and is still considered a health problem. Iran ranks fourth in the world with an average incidence of 24.43 per 100,000 people. Due to the long borders of the country and lack of supervision over the import of livestock, large number of nomadic population, traditional methods of animal husbandry, insufficient supervision over the production and distribution of dairy products and lack of regular vaccination and testing and killing of livestock, many cases have been reported.In studies conducted in different parts of Iran, the prevalence of brucellosis in Kazerun is 8.7%, Bushehr 8.10%, Kerman 2.3% 2.31%, Isfahan, Gilan (rural areas) 8.9%, Mazandaran 9.53% and all tribes in the country 5% were reported.
Despite the importance of the disease and the different forms of the appearance of its signs and symptoms, a comprehensive study on the different signs and symptoms of the disease is not yet available. Therefore, this study was conducted in order to examine the different signs and symptoms of the disease in patients across the country in a structured review and to find out the frequency of each of these signs and symptoms in patients across the country. And letchr('39')s find a more general view of the manifestations of this disease of a thousand faces. This ultimately speeds up the diagnostic process and patients can achieve appropriate treatment in a shorter time
