Background and Aim: With the continuation and intensification of the crisis caused by Coronavirus 2019 (COVID_19) in Iran as one of the main foci of the disease in the Middle East and the world, concerns about the status of caregivers and working life of nurses as a vital resource to continue The fight against the disease has increased so much that it can be considered as a top priority and a management emergency. The aim of this study was to evaluate the compassionate satisfaction (CS), Burnout (BO) and Secondary  Traumatic Stress (STS) in Iranian nurses working in hospital wards, care for patients with COVID-19.

Materials and Methods: The present study is a national, descriptive and web-based online study in which 427 nurses working on the front lines of the fight against the disease from all provinces of Iran will participate to answer questions about data collection tools including occupational and Demographics questions as well as the Persian version of the professional Quality of Working Life questionnaire (ProQOL‑ version 5). Inclusion criteria are satisfaction and willingness to participate in the study and completion of the questionnaire, employment with the organizational position of nurse and history of attending hospital wards for  caring the patients with COVID-19 diognosis. Data using descriptive statistics, mean comparison tests, Correlation coefficient and linear regression will be analyzed in SPSS software (version 21, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY, USA).
