Objective: Ultrasound (US) is an imaging procedure with various applications, such as checking the fetus during pregnancy. To the best of our knowledge no study have investigated the simultaneous effect of diagnostic US waves and ethanol exposure on intracellular calcium ([Ca2+]i) processes and reactive oxygen species (ROS). Thus, in the current study, we first aimed to investigate the impacts of diagnostic US during fetal life on [Ca2+]i and ROS in rats’ hippocampal cells; then whether the diagnostic US has intensified ethanol effects on these two variables. Materials and Methods: After mating, adult female Wistar rats were divided into six groups as follows: Control group, ethanol group (5 g/kg), groups that were exposed to diagnostic US at frequencies of 3 and 5 MHz for 10 minutes on the 11-13 days of pregnancy, and groups that underwent US waves accompanied with ethanol on the same term of pregnancy. Fourteen days after delivery, the offspring were anesthetized, the hippocampus was isolated, and [Ca2+]i was measured using the Flou 3-AM and fluorimetry instrument after cell culture. Results: The results showed that the diagnostic US with 3 and 5 MHz frequencies significantly increased [Ca2+]i levels up to 17.8% and 21.8 %, as well as ROS levels by 81.18% and 128.51% compared to the control group. In addition, [Ca2+]i levels in the groups with simultaneous exposure to ethanol and US with frequencies 3 and 5 MHz were 19.19% and 23.33% higher than the ethanol group. Besides, the amount of ROS in the groups with simultaneous exposure to ethanol and US with frequencies 3 and 5 MHz were 77.5% and 172.5% higher than the ethanol group, respectively. However, ethanol alone did not alter intracellular [Ca2+]i and ROS levels. Conclusion: It is concluded that diagnostic US with 3 and 5 MHz frequencies increase the [Ca2+]i and ROS rate, and it also intensifies the effects of ethanol on the [Ca2+]i and ROS levels.
Rheumatic diseases are caused by the interaction of various factors such as factors related to the host, environment and in some cases infectious factors (1). The World Health Organization and the Asia-Pacific Rheumatism Association have launched a community-based program to control rheumatic diseases (2). The first part of this program includes studies that determine the prevalence of various rheumatic diseases in most countries. The second part of this program includes education and how to prevent rheumatic diseases (3, 4). In our country, descriptive studies have not been conducted to investigate the prevalence of various rheumatic diseases in the community and the information available from a series of patients admitted to hospitals or specialized clinics can not be generalized to estimate the incidence and prevalence of various rheumatic diseases. Due to the need to determine the prevalence of various rheumatic diseases in the community, we decided to conduct a study in Ilam province and determine the prevalence of various rheumatic diseases in people over 15 years.

High blood pressure is one of the most common chronic diseases, which leads to other diseases. Hypertension is one of the most important public health threats in developed and developing countries. According to the available evidence, about 25 to 35% of the worldchr('39')s population over the age of 18 and 60% of people over the age of 60 have high blood pressure. In Iran, the number of people with high blood pressure has increased by 13% since 1968. According to the International Blood Pressure Association, the disease has led to 7.6 million deaths (13.5% of all deaths) and accounts for 6% of the cost of diseases worldwide. Risk attributed to risk factors for cardiovascular disease in Iran, 62% due to high blood pressure, 22% due to cardiovascular disease due to inactivity, 22% due to smoking, 13% due to low consumption of fruits and vegetables, And 18% due to high blood fats (some factors overlap). According to the International Center for Health Statistics in Asia in 2012, 6.8 percent of people over the age of 18 had heart disease, 4.5 percent had coronary artery disease, and 21.2 percent had high blood pressure.
If blood pressure is controlled, accidents and their consequences are greatly reduced, for example, by controlling blood pressure, the incidence of stroke and ischemic heart disease is reduced by 28 to 44% and 20 to 35%, respectively. According to scientific documents, education is one of the most basic tools and methods to prevent high blood pressure and its complications. It is estimated that developing countries, especially Asia and the Middle East, have the highest increase in high blood pressure, which is related to lifestyle, especially high-calorie diet and the use of ready-made and salty foods. Although many programs have raised the awareness of people for the primary prevention of hypertension in Iran and other countries, reports from the World Health Organization show that the number of patients with this disease is increasing day by day, and from there That early prevention of hypertension is positively related to the tendency to change high-risk behaviors, addressing this issue can help more comprehensive planning for the prevention of this disease. Although antihypertensive drugs are known to be the primary treatment for high blood pressure, these treatments will not be effective even if patients are fully compliant. Lifestyle is the most important and preventable risk factor, which can be modified to reduce many risk factors for chronic diseases. Lifestyle includes behaviors such as eating habits, sleep and rest, physical activity and Exercise, weight control, smoking and alcohol, immunization against disease, coping with stress and the ability to use the support of family and community. Most foreign and domestic studies show a direct and positive relationship between high blood pressure and aging and body mass index. Due to the various factors affecting the occurrence of hypertension, early prevention of hypertension is necessary, which necessitates the development of an educational program to promote health, primary prevention and its impact on high-risk middle-aged women. Therefore, the present study aims to evaluate the health education program in the primary prevention of hypertension in high-risk middle-aged women in Koohdasht.

Multiple sclerosis is known as a chronic inflammatory disease and by involving the myelin sheath of nerve fibers leads to motor and sensory disabilities and can eventually lead to death. The prevalence of multiple sclerosis, as a groundbreaking disease of the affected person and costly for the individual and society, is increasing rapidly. The complex pathology of this disease includes the secretion of inflammatory factors and eventually the activation of astrocytes and microglia, the death of oligodendrocytes and the destruction of myelin. Treatment is usually based on the use of immunosuppressive agents and reducing inflammation of the nervous system. In this study, we try to prevent the onset of the inflammatory process and thus the progression of the disease by removing aquapurin 4 proteins, whose expression is abnormally increased on the membrane of activated astrocytes. This type of protein, which forms water channels in the membrane, plays an important role in water homeostasis, maintaining the ionic balance of the neural microenvironment, and causing edema in the tissue.

Neospora caninum is a protozoan parasite that is forced to live intracellularly from spores that can potentially infect different populations of broiler and dairy cows. Infection with this parasite has led to neosporosis, which significantly causes abortions in infected cows. All over the world, neospora abortions are one of the most important and root causes of economic losses to the livestock industry, especially in dairy farms. The parasite is constantly circulating in the fields and pastures between dogs (final host) and cows (intermediate host), and infected cows, in addition to abortion, may even give birth to a baby with Neospora caninum, which in turn infects their offspring. Since there are no specific treatments for this important parasite, the use of vaccination against the parasite to prevent infection seems economical. Bioinformatics tools have been instrumental in identifying vaccine candidate antigenic proteins or their immunizing epitopes over the past few decades. The aim of the present study was to design and evaluate a computer candidate for a new vaccine against Neospora caninum using immunosuppressive epitopes derived from several antigenic proteins of the parasite.
