از لحظ&nbsp; آناتومی&nbsp; کابردی&nbsp; بیماری با وجود اختلالات در هیپوکامپ لوب تمپورال&nbsp; و میزان تغییرات فرآیند آپوپتوز در سلول&shy;های هیپوکامپ همراه است.(3) از لحاظ عملکردی&nbsp; به یکی از عوارض تشنج&nbsp; یعنی ، تاثیر بر کانال های یونی در سلول&shy;های مذکور می&shy;توان&nbsp; اشاره کرد و از طرفی باتوجه به استفاده روزافزون&nbsp; از امواج اولتراسوند در سونوگرافی ها و استفاده درمانی از این امواج&nbsp; و وجود گزارشات&nbsp;
