fa بررسی ارتباط بین نگرش دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی ایلام نسبت به سالمندان و تمایل دانشجویان به انجام مراقبتهای آنان در سطح مراکز بهداشتی- درمانی شهر ایلام سال ۱۳۹۹ بهداشت و پرستاری مقطعی (Cross sectional) Cross sectional نسان شناسان و جامعه شناسان پیر شدن جمعیت را مهمترین پدیده عصر حاضر میدانند[۲]. طبق گزارش سازمان جهانی بهداشت تا سال ۲۰۲۵ جمعیت افراد سالمند به بیش از ۸۰۰ میلیون نفر خواهد رسید[۵]. همچنین طبق گزارش دیگری از این سازمان، درصد بالایی از نیاز به استفاده از خدمات بهداشتی &ndash; درمانی در مقایسه با کل جمعیت مربوط به سالمندان است. ضرورت توجه همه جانبه نسبت به سالمندان ناشی از آن است که این افراد دارای مشکلات عدیده سلامتی اند و عمده ترین مصرف کنندگان خدمات سلامتی اند[۳].<br> افزایش چشمگیر جمعیت سالمند چالشهای فراوانی را فراروی سیاست گذاران عرصه بهداشت و درمان قرار داده است.[۴] یکی از مهترین این چالش ها حفظ کیفیت ارائه خدمات سلامتی به سالمندان است. در ارائه خدمات با کیفیت به سالمندان عوامل مختلفی دخیل است اما یکی از این عوامل نگرش ارائه دهندگان خدمات سلامتی به سالمندان و پدیده سالمندی است[۷].<br> لذا هدف و ضرورت اصلی انجام این مطالعه بررسی نگرش دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی ایلام و تمایل آنها به کار با سالمندان است چرا که حیطه شغلی آنها در آینده ممکن است بطور مستقیم با ارائه خدمات و مراقبت های بهداشتی به سالمندان در ارتباط باشد. Anthropologists and sociologists consider population aging to be the most important phenomenon of the present age [2]. According to the World Health Organization, by 2025 the population of the elderly will reach more than 800 million [5]. Also, according to another report from this organization, a high percentage of the need to use health services compared to the total population is related to the elderly. The need for comprehensive attention to the elderly is due to the fact that these people have many health problems and are the main consumers of health services [3].<br> The significant increase in the elderly population has posed many challenges to health policymakers. [4]<br> One of the most important challenges is maintaining the quality of health care for the elderly.
