Among cardiovascular diseases, Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) accounts for a large proportion of deaths and disabilities due to cardiovascular disease. Pharmacological, interventional and surgical methods are used to treat coronary artery stenosis (1, 2). One of the methods that has been used in recent years to reduce myocardial necrosis during PCI is the use of statin drugs, especially atorvastatin and rosuvastatin (3, 4). Some experimental studies have shown that the use of atorvastatin reduces myocardial infarction (MI) around non-emergency PCIs (5, 6). On the other hand, a small number of studies have shown that the use of high doses of atorvastatin A single dose of 80 mg or rosvastatin 40 mg one day before PCI also reduced infarction around PCI (7, 8).
