Abstract: (267 Views)
One of the principles of burn care is to prevent wound infection by using the correct debridement and wound dressing techniques. There are surgical, enzymatic and mechanical types of debridement. Wound debridement reduces the risk of infection by reducing wound secretions and helps to grow healthy tissues. But it causes complications such as bleeding, irritation, damage to healthy tissue and pain. Therefore, teaching nursing students the correct debridement method is very important. Studies have shown that blended learning and the simultaneous use of several teaching methods can be very effective in helping clinical processes and teaching students. One of these tools is the use of a training package. The educational package is a systematic learning set that includes three parts of educational technology (software, hardware and problem solving process) and its production and use is an operational measure in the successful implementation of educational programs (1) This study aims to determine The effect of the training package of mechanical debridement of burn wounds on the knowledge and performance of nursing students of Ilam University of Medical Sciences in 1402.
