Abstract:   (13 Views)
Cardiovascular disease is one of the most common diseases in the 21st century and is the leading cause of more than half of all deaths in developed countries. The widespread use of modern diagnostic methods such as angiography, mortality Myrrh has reduced these diseases by about 50%. Coronary angiography is an invasive procedure used to diagnose coronary artery disease. Due to the invasive nature of the angiography procedure, complications such as hematoma and bleeding, arterial thrombosis, and embolism are possible due to trauma to the vessel wall. Therefore, nursing care in patients undergoing angiography will be very important in order to prevent and detect complications. In this regard, nurses play a role in all stages before, during and after angiography. Patient education is one of the professional responsibilities of nurses. There are several methods in patient education, one of which is individual or face-to-face education. Creating the right environment for learning is effective, teaching is peer. The positive effect of this educational approach has been confirmed in some studies. Self-care has an important place in the care of heart patients. It is necessary and as a result leads to an increase in complications for patients. However, so far the effect of education through nurses and peers in the field of self-care after angioplasty has not been done. Numerous studies have been conducted to investigate the effect of education on patients' self-care ability. There are two methods: peer and nurse on the self-care capacity of patients after angiography and angioplasty.
